The Wish Master

2 September 2014 Written by: jambo

The Wish Master, offered by Net Entertainment, is a 20 line, three row, five reel slot. This slot takes on an Aladdin type them where a genie is seen on his magic carpet. The game is set in what looks like a cave with a genie lamp on the right with gold and jewels scattered around the floor. The symbols aren’t really anything special and they would not make one think they were from an Arabian or Aladdin themed game by themselves. The graphics and theme is overall attractive and with wilds, multipliers, extra wilds, stacked wilds and random wilds, this is one wish you will be granted.

The Wish Master Slot Symbols

There are only ten symbols used in The Wish Master. The top four paying symbols look like pendant animal heads with a jewel stuck in the middle and offer pay outs ranging from 20 coins up to 750. The lower paying symbols, paying from 5 to 100 coins, are represented by A, K, Q and J. The wild symbol is a rather plain looking symbol but packs power. The word wild is in flames on an irregular shaped black background. The flaming wild substitutes automatically to form winning paylines, and is used for anything except the scatter symbol.

The Wish Master Game Play

In the free spins round is where you really have the chance to rack up some serious wins. The scatter symbol looks like a sheet of rolled parchment showing a genie lamp on it. Unlike many of the newer video slots, you don’t have to have three or more scatters to trigger a free spin experience. Whenever a genie lamp symbol appears, you trigger 10 spins with special game features. There are not free but it is where this games power is waiting. When one appears, it will randomly select one of the features, if during any of the subsequent 10 spins a second lamp appears, it will award another of the features and so on to a max of three active at a given time. This also adds 5 more spins with those remaining features being active. The extra features are multipliers of two or three, two wilds that appear at random on any of the reels, a locked in place reel filled with wilds, a wild that expands or an extra wild symbol.

While the top pay out of 900,000 coins is high, The Wish Master seems like a tough game to crack. The scatter symbols unlocking the free spins are the only way to get close to the big money and they are few and far between. You are allowed to bet from 1 to 10 on each pay line and from $0.01 up to $0.50 per coin.

Conclusion

This is a rather different game but one that can be profitable to play. The feature may not come as often as some other slots but when you consider that you can have multiple available features on the reels and the possibility of all reels as wild, it is not to difficult to see why this one has some value.
