Net Entertainment is offering a five reel, three row, twenty payline slot called Wild Water. The game includes a scatter symbol, wild symbol, free spins, multiple coin sizes and a jackpot of 400,000 coins. Wild Water is a surfing and beach themed slot machine from the people surfing the waves in the background to the symbols and surfing music featuring occasional sea gull noises. It looks like it is set in the 1960’s due to the style of the swim wear. There is what looks like an old VW bus on one side of the screen and one of the surfers is wearing a peace sign, which further gives it a 60’s vibe. If you are old enough to remember, it kind of takes you back to a time when you could get out in the waves and forget the world for a time while you time at the beach with friends.
Wild Water Slot Symbols
There are fewer symbols used in the Wild Water slots video game than many slots. The symbols all can appear stacked across the 3 rows and this can occur on each reel, thus providing for 5 of a kind wins on all paylines. The main characters are tall and can cover all three rows. The highest paying symbol looks like a woman surfing inside a wave with a gold background and pays from 40 to 2,000 coins. There are five main surfer characters paying from 4 coins up 500 coins. While this may not be much, this can be paid on all 25 lines, and quickly add up to a large win.
The Wild Water wild symbol is a shark jumping out of the water. It is used for everything except scatter bonuses to help make winning symbol combinations. When you have wilds during the free spins, they expand to cover an entire reel where they first appear. This is the power punch hit made of dreams.
Wild Water Game Play
The scatter bonus symbol is a guy on a surf board riding a wave and says scatter across the bottom. The way to unlock the free spins, ranging from 15 to 60, is to get three, four or five scatter symbols on the same screen. Four scatter surfers get you 30 free spins; three get you 15 and five earns 60 free spins.
There are two special bonuses in the Wild Water slots game. The Surf’s Up bonus pays a multiplier of 20 times your wager and is triggered when any mix of the five tall surfer symbols fill your screen. The Surf Team bonus is when each of the five main surfer characters fills your screen and pays a huge 200 times multiplier bonus.
The only decisions you can make while playing the Wild Water slot machine is what size coins to bet (.01, .02, .05, .10, .20 or .50) and how many coins to wager per line (1 to 10). The top bet per spin is 100 and the bottom is .20. Just like almost all slot machines that you can still play, you can use the auto play feature to automate your play, hit the spin button every time to activate the reels or hit the max bet option.
Conclusion
Wild Water is a great adventure themed slot, not in so far as it takes you on one, more so that you feel as you might just have one should you hit the waves. The expanding wilds are outstanding sources for big wins and the quality in graphics and the animations that occur when those wins trigger, is outstanding.
