Theme and Background
Taking a stroll through the Hundred Acre Wo … wait, wrong woods. But this slot does remind us of Winnie Pooh and all his friends. With four different animals (fox, deer, rabbit, owl), each with their own respective season and respective game modes, we’re starting to like these woods better than any others we’ve seen.
The background setting to the four different seasons provides the same woodlands landscape with several trees located on either side of the reels along with rivers, mountains, and hilltops stretching into the distance. What makes this game unique is the background changes based on the season being that is displayed behind the reels. In Winter, everything is covered in snow with the reels framed in ice. In Summer, everything is blooming with clear blue skies and lush green grass. In Autumn, the sky is much darker, and the leaves turn brown while in Spring, you will notice a lot of rain and everything coming back to life. The sound effects depend on the weather conditions as well, and the control panel is placed on a wooden board placed below the reels.
What really amazes us about this slot is the attention to the animated wilds and background, with leaves, rain, wind and snow falling throughout the gameplay. It doesn’t get much more immersive than this.
